Effective from 12th November 2025.
1.1 Bookings are essential to attend all classes at FIT and can be done via the FIT Health Clubs app or online member portal.
1.2 Bookings for all classes open 7 days and 1 hour prior to class commencement (i.e. you cannot book classes more than 7 days in advance). For example - a class that commences at 8am on Monday 8th June will become bookable for eligible members at 7am on Monday 1st June.
1.3 Due to the high demand for spots in certain classes and studios, members may only book a maximum of one class per day in a studio. Only one class can be booked at the same chronological time, this includes overlapping classes and applies to waiting list spots as well as bookings. You can not book back-to-back classes in one studio.
1.4 Members are required to arrive on time for all classes. Entry will not be permitted once a class has commenced, and any late arrivals will forfeit their booking. Your spot may be given to a waitlisted or walk-in participant after the scheduled class start time. This policy is in place to minimise disruption and maintain the quality and flow of each session for both instructors and fellow members.
The group fitness timetable is subject to change at the discretion of Club management.
1.5 Any member who has booked multiple classes in a studio on a given day will retain their earliest booked class only, and have any subsequent bookings automatically cancelled. This will occur without notice to the member, and all remaining class bookings will still be visible to the member via the FIT Health Clubs app.
1.6 Any member who books back to back classes in the same studio on the same day will receive one warning regarding violating this Booking Policy. For repeat offenders, a Booking Violation Fee, as specified in our Fee Schedule, will apply for all future instances of this occurring. All members who book classes acknowledge and understand these conditions.
A different class style/studio may be booked and attended back-to-back.
2.1 Cancellations of booked classes greater than 1 hour prior to class commencement are counted as an early cancellation, and are without penalty.
2.2 In these circumstances, the FIT Health Clubs app will automatically notify the next member on the waitlist that they have been accepted and added into the class.
2.3 Anyone on the waitlist understands and accepts that they may be added to the class up to and including 1 hour prior to the class. If you are not in a position to attend a booked class, you must always remove yourself from the waitlist, otherwise you accept that you may be added to the class.
3.1 Bookings for classes may not be cancelled within 1 hour prior to class commencement, as this is within the Late Cancellation Window.
3.2 Members must check in to the Club via their Member App (or request manual sign in at reception), which will then automatically sign the member into their class. All member check-ins up to 2 hours prior to class commencement will automatically be registered as attending their booked class.
3.3 Members who do not check in to the Club within the timeframe above, or who do not attend their booked class will have their booking counted as a No Show.
3.4 Any member who checks into the Club greater than 2 hours prior to class commencement must re-check in to the Club to ensure they are checked in to their booked class.
3.5 All Late Cancellations and No Shows will count as a ‘Strike’ on a members profile.
4.1 Any member who accrues 3 Strikes within a rolling 7 day period will have their class booking capability removed for 7 days (‘Exclusion Period’)
4.2 All classes booked prior to the Exclusion Period remain valid and can be attended by the member, however no new bookings may be made within the Exclusion Period.
4.3 The Exclusion Period applies only to making new class bookings. Members may still attend the Club and make use of all non-bookable Club facilities.
4.4 Members may still attend classes without a booking during the Exclusion Period, providing only if there is any availability in a class after the class commences (ie a ‘walk in’ class attendance).
5.1 Note that the above Early Cancellation, Late Cancellation, No Show, Strike and Exclusion Period Policies do NOT apply to Kids Club bookings.
6.1 All Infrared Sauna sessions are 45mins, after which the session finishes. Bookings open 7 days prior to session commencement.
6.2 All Early Cancellation, Late Cancellation, No Show, Strike and Exclusion Period Policies listed above also apply to Infrared Sauna bookings.
7.1 Bookings are essential.
7.2 Members must check in to the sauna via reception.
7.3 2x towels must be used at all times while in the sauna.
7.4 Members must only book one Infrared sauna session per day. Any occurrence of multiple same-day bookings may result in cancellation of all bookings on that day and this is at the sole discretion of Club management.
7.5 If in doubt as to the advisability of using an Infrared sauna please consult your health professional before use.
8.1 Please shower before using the Ice Bath.
8.2 Please use a towel after the Ice Bath plunge to not walk water through the changing rooms. Be mindful of other Club members.
8.3 The Ice Bath has a sanitisation system and the filter is cleaned on a regular basis to maintain the high standards we set in the cleanliness of the Club.
8.4 The Ice Bath is set between 3 degrees to 6 degrees. If you have any health issues that you are unsure will be affected by the use of an Ice Bath you should check with your health professional before use.
From 29th September 2025, all Personal Training at FIT Lane Cove is delivered by independent Licensee Personal Trainers who operate their own businesses from the club. They are not employees of FIT Lane Cove. All Membership Terms and Conditions of FIT Lane Cove continue to apply to members who choose to engage with a Personal Trainer.
9.1 BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS
(a) All new expressions of interest in engaging in Personal Training can be made at the Concierge Desk. FIT will connect you with an appropriate Licensee Personal Trainer.
(b) Personal Training sessions are booked directly with your chosen Personal Trainer.
(c) Cancellation policies, rescheduling terms, and payments are managed directly between you and the Personal Trainer. FIT Concierge team does not process Personal Training bookings, payments, or alterations.
9.2 IMPORTANT INFORMATION
(a) It is highly recommended that you complete a complimentary InBody Scan before beginning training in the Club.
(b) The InBody Scan used by FIT Lane Cove in no way guarantees against injury or death. Under FIT Lane Cove’s Public Liability and Professional Indemnity, any persons exercising at FIT Lane Cove and/or engaging a Personal Trainer acknowledges the warning, exclusion of liability and release and indemnity, and assumes with full knowledge the dangers in participating in fitness activities and does so at their own risk, in line with Membership Terms and Conditions.
(c) All Personal Training services, fees, cancellation policies, and expiry terms are set by the Licensee Personal Trainer and form a direct contract between you and them. FIT Lane Cove is not responsible for any breach of contract, negligence, or refund request relating to Personal Training services.
9.3 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By purchasing or engaging in Personal Training services, whether in the Club or online, you acknowledge and agree that:
(a) The Personal Trainer is a self-employed Licensee operating independently from FIT Lane Cove.
(b) Any agreement, fees, refunds, or service-related matters are a contract between you and the Personal Trainer.
(c) FIT Lane Cove accepts no responsibility or liability for services provided by a Licensee Personal Trainer.
